A calm place to type. No toolbar, no backspace: the page, a red pen, and the next draft.

For macOS 14 Sonoma or later, on Apple silicon and Intel.

  1. Type it once.

    Keys go down and stay down. Headings, lists, bold and italic, and nothing to fiddle with.

  2. Mark it up.

    Strike a phrase in yellow, circle a thought in red, put a word in the margin.

  3. Type it again, better.

    The last draft sits beside the new one. When it's ready, put it on the shelf.
